Landing Platform vs Gong: call notes on the deal, one bill

Record the call, file it on the deal, and skip the platform fee.

Gong records and analyses customer conversations and sits on top of your CRM, sold as per-user licences plus a platform fee. Landing's notetaker joins Teams and Google Meet calls, files the summary and action items on the deal, and turns the actions into project cards, inside the CRM itself.

Landing suits you if

  • You want every call summarised and filed on the right deal automatically
  • You want action items to become real tasks with owners
  • You'd rather not buy a CRM and a revenue platform to sit on top of it

Where the call costs more than it should.

Recording calls is worth doing. Paying twice for it isn't.

Licences plus a platform fee

Gong prices per user, plus a platform fee set by team size, and the number comes from a sales conversation.

Another layer on the CRM

Gong complements your CRM rather than replacing it, so you pay for both and keep them in step.

Insight that stops at the deal

The call is analysed, then the proposal, the project and the invoice happen in other tools.

Landing Platform vs Gong, line by line.

Landing records the call and files it where the work happens: on the deal, the contact and the project.

What it costs, side by side.

Gong quotes per user plus a platform fee, on top of the CRM it sits on. On Landing the CRM, the notetaker and the work after the deal are one price.

Switching is our job, not yours.

We move you over one tool a month, against success criteria we agree with you up front. You don't pay until we prove each one is ready.

Step 1

We map your stack

Show us your Gong setup and the tools around it. We agree what moves where, and what "ready" means for each tool, before you commit to anything.

Step 2

We move you off Gong

Contacts, companies and deals move into Landing as part of the switch, and the notetaker starts joining your Teams and Meet calls. We check calls are landing on the right deals before you switch off.

Step 3

You sign it off

Billing starts only when we have shown it works against the criteria you set. Then we move the next tool, one a month.

But we already use Gong.

Fair. Here are the questions teams ask us most when they're weighing it up.

What does Landing do with a call once it's recorded?

It writes an executive summary and key points, pulls out action items with owners, and matches each speaker to your team or your CRM contacts by email. The call is filed against the right client, and action items can become project cards, so what was agreed turns into work.

Which calls can the notetaker record?

It joins Microsoft Teams and Google Meet calls, records meetings in person from a phone, and takes uploaded recordings. All of them land in the same place, on the record.

Can we keep our CRM and only replace Gong?

The notetaker files onto Landing's own contacts and deals, so it works best when the pipeline lives here too. We move contacts, companies, deals and history across for you, against success criteria you agree up front.

Which plan includes meeting notes?

Growth, from £69 per Builder a month. The CRM, booking, quotes, e-signature and invoices are in every plan.

“We were running PR, social scheduling and the rest of our marketing across half a dozen tools that never talked. Now we plan, schedule and measure from a single screen.”
