About Landing Platform: built in Norwich by Pivotal
Landing Platform is made by Pivotal, a digital agency in Norwich. We built it to run our own business, then our clients asked to run theirs on it too. Every part of it is used, every day, by the people who make it.
Why we built it.
Pivotal is a full-service digital agency. We design and build sites on Shopify, Magento and bespoke platforms, and run the marketing that grows them. Like every agency, we ran on a pile of tools: one for projects, one for time, one for HR, one for email, one for the CRM, and spreadsheets to make them agree.
So we built one system where a client, a project, the hours logged on it, the emails sent to it and the person who did the work are the same record. First for ourselves. Then for the clients who saw it working and wanted in. That is Landing Platform, and it is still how Pivotal runs.
It matters because we feel every rough edge before you do. A timesheet that is fiddly to fill in slows our own team down. A report that is wrong costs us money first. We are not building a product from a spec; we are running a company on it.
Tait Pollack
Tait started Pivotal to give growing brands the kind of joined-up marketing and technology that only large companies used to get. Landing came out of running that agency and refusing to accept that a business should need forty logins to know how it is doing.
