What if you'd joined HubSpot before anyone had heard of HubSpot?
Not when there were thousands of salespeople. Before the playbook. Before the mature territories. Before everybody knew what it was. That's the kind of moment we're hiring for. Landing Platform is one operating system replacing the software businesses have accumulated over the last decade — and we're looking for a very small number of exceptional American salespeople to take it into the US.
A minute from the founder

Hi, I'm Tait, founder of Pivotal and Landing Platform. I'm looking for a very small number of exceptional salespeople to help us launch Landing in the US.
This isn't a normal AE job. There's no salary, and I'm deliberately looking for people who are excited by that rather than put off by it. Our founding licence is worth $132,000 over two years. Close one and we'll pay you $10,000. Close two, that's $20,000 — and there's no cap.
But the reason I think this is really interesting isn't just the commission. We've spent years building Landing to run our own business, and now it covers 44 features across 11 categories. And we're at the point where we're taking the platform properly to market.
So I'm looking for people who want to get in at the beginning, to help us work out how we win in America — and potentially become a much bigger part of what we're building.
Have a look at Landing Platform below. And if you look at the product, look at the commercial opportunity and think “I could absolutely sell this” — then I want to hear from you.
You should probably see what you'd be selling.
Most sales roles ask you to take the product on trust. Go and look at ours before you decide whether you want to carry it.
CRM. Marketing. Sales. Projects. HR. Analytics. Automation. Content. Invoicing. A/B testing. One subscription.
We're bringing it to America.
We're not building a hundred-person sales floor. We're looking for the first few people — the ones who want to be here while the playbook is still being written.
You're not selling an idea.
There is a shipped platform, an established development team, real infrastructure and paying clients running their businesses on it today. You are not being asked to pre-sell a roadmap.
You'll help write it.
You'll hear the objections before they become FAQs, and you'll work directly with the people building the product — not through three layers of enablement.
This gets much bigger.
If you're one of the people who proves Landing can be sold in America, we're interested in something considerably larger than keeping you a freelance closer forever.
Two ways into an account.
A whole-platform licence for the businesses ready to move everything, and a single-engine licence for the ones that aren't yet. You don't have one thing to sell — you have a land-and-expand route.
One engine, complete.
- Five engines to sell: Marketing, Sales, Operations and People at $1,500/mo; Growth — the optimisation layer — at $2,000/mo.
- Ten seats per engine, so this is the volume half of your number.
- Same two-year term, same founding cohort, same direct line to the team that builds it.
- A team can start with one engine and add a second or third whenever they want — your expansion story is built into the pricing.
The entire platform.
- Everything. All five engines and every other feature, unlimited seats, no per-seat fees ever.
- Monthly feature requests built for them by name, same-day SLA on any bug, priority VIP support.
- White-glove migration off their whole stack, and grandfathered preferential pricing for life.
- Ten seats, ever — worldwide, across the entire programme. Eight are still open. When they're gone the price goes up, permanently, and the deals get considerably larger.
Ten thousand dollars. One founding licence.
This is a 100% performance-based position. There is no salary, and that is deliberate — we would rather pay a serious number to somebody exceptional than a comfortable salary for average performance.
$10,000 per founding licence closed.
Not a percentage you have to work out. Not a number that moves with the deal. Close a founding licence — $5,500 a month on a 24-month agreement, $132,000 of contract value — and you are paid ten thousand dollars. Every one.
Eight of the ten founding seats are unsold. That is the whole world, not a territory. Every agreement is subject to credit checks on the signatories and our standard due diligence. Commission is paid once the contract is signed and the first payment has cleared into our bank.
We're not going to advertise a fictional OTE.
Your earnings depend on what you close. But the arithmetic is deliberately simple.
A year of commission, on founding licences alone. Vanguard licences earn on top, and we will add performance accelerators for exceptional quarterly performance. There is no ceiling on any of it.
Close one and you earn $10,000. Close two, $20,000. Close four, $40,000.
The founding ten are the door, not the ceiling.
Ten businesses get the whole platform at $5,500 a month, and eight of those seats are still open. Once they're gone the same product sells at $20,000 a month — the same conversation, the same demo, the same close, against a contract nearly four times the size.
Vanguard licence
The team that wants one department fixed before it moves everything. One engine at a time, five to choose from — this is where your pipeline stays busy while the bigger deals work.
Founding licence
The entire platform, unlimited seats, a say in the roadmap. A business this size is already paying roughly $5,500 a month in subscriptions, so you are not asking it to spend more — you are asking it to spend the same and stop reconciling.
Standard licence
A 60-person business is already spending about $22,000 a month on disconnected subscriptions — at 100 people it is closer to $34,000. Our own calculator says so, publicly. At $20,000 for one connected platform with no per-seat fees, you are not asking for a budget increase.
Same pitch. Nearly four times.
We care less about your CV than you think.
Maybe you've sold SaaS. Maybe ERP, CRM or digital transformation. Maybe you've spent five years selling something we've never heard of. Fine. We care considerably less about where you've worked than what you have actually sold.
- You run an exceptional discovery call.
You can understand a business quickly and sell the outcome rather than the feature list.
- You're comfortable with founders and CEOs.
A five- or six-figure buying decision doesn't change how you speak, and you can navigate the people around it.
- You handle an objection like a person.
Not like someone working through a memorised objection-handling script.
- You create urgency without manufacturing it.
And then you close.
- You need a guaranteed salary.
- You need somebody to motivate you.
- You think closing means applying pressure until somebody surrenders.
- You'll represent Landing alongside twelve other “opportunities”.
- You're uncomfortable discussing a six-figure decision with the person whose money it is.
- The words “commission only” scare you more than “$10,000 commission” excites you.
There's a real company behind this.
Landing Platform is built by Pivotal, a UK digital agency working in marketing, technology, digital experience and innovation. We built the platform to run our own business, and we run our own seven-figure agency on it every day. This is not two people with a prototype looking for somebody to somehow sell it.
The questions we'd ask too.
If you're very good, we should talk.
No 800-word cover letter. No “where do you see yourself in five years?” We'd rather see evidence — tell us what you've closed, and how.
Your biggest close. What you sold, and what you personally did to win it.
Your best ever commission month. The number, not a range.
Three minutes, maximum, answering one question: why should you be one of the first people to sell Landing Platform in America?
Not a salesperson, but you know one who'd be perfect for this? Send them this page.
