Landing Platform vs Otter.ai: notes filed on the client record

Meeting notes are only useful where the work happens.

Otter transcribes and summarises your meetings, and passes them to a CRM through an integration. Landing's notetaker files each call on the right client and deal, matches speakers to your contacts by email, and turns action items into project cards.

Landing suits you if

  • You want notes on the client record, not in a separate notes app
  • You want action items to become tasks with owners
  • You need the CRM, projects and time the notes belong to

Where the notes go missing.

A good transcript that nobody finds again is just a file.

A transcript in its own app

Notes stay in Otter until someone copies them to wherever the client is managed.

CRM sync on paid plans

Otter lists Salesforce and HubSpot integrations from its Pro plan, and custom CRM integrations on Enterprise.

Minutes and meeting caps

Pro limits monthly recording minutes and meeting length; unlimited meetings sit on Business.

Landing Platform vs Otter.ai, line by line.

Landing's notetaker does the note-taking, then files the call where the client, the deal and the work already live.

What it costs, side by side.

Otter charges per user for notes. On Landing the same seats carry the notetaker, the CRM and the project work the notes are about.

Work out your own price

Example team: four people who run clients and sales every day, eight who join calls, pick up actions and log time. Landing prices are in pounds; Otter lists its prices in dollars, so we show both as published rather than converting. Credits for AI, SMS and lookups come from a shared pool each Builder adds to.

Switching is our job, not yours.

We move you over one tool a month, against success criteria we agree with you up front. You don't pay until we prove each one is ready.

Step 1

We map your stack

Show us your Otter setup and the tools around it. We agree what moves where, and what "ready" means for each tool, before you commit to anything.

Step 2

We move you off Otter

Your contacts and clients move into the CRM as part of the switch, and the notetaker starts joining your Teams and Meet calls. We check calls are filing on the right clients before you switch off.

Step 3

You sign it off

Billing starts only when we have shown it works against the criteria you set. Then we move the next tool, one a month.

Free monthsEvery £1,000 a month you switch off earns a free month, up to three.
Billing starts when it's readyWe prove the switch works before your first invoice.
OnboardingOne month's fee, from £500, paid when your first switch is signed off.
Price lockedYour yearly price is locked for two years.

But we already use Otter.

Fair. Here are the questions teams ask us most when they're weighing it up.

Otter has a free plan. What does Landing add?

A free transcript is a start. Landing files each call on the right client and deal, matches speakers to your contacts, turns action items into project cards, and gives you the CRM, projects and timesheets the notes are about, on one bill.

How does a call find the right client?

Speakers are matched by email: from the calendar invite, the attendees are checked against your team and your CRM contacts. The call is then filed against that client, and anyone new can be added as a contact in one click.

Which calls can Landing's notetaker record?

Microsoft Teams and Google Meet calls, meetings in person from a phone, and uploaded recordings. They all land on the record in the same way.

Which plan includes the notetaker?

Growth, from £69 per Builder a month. People who pick up actions and log time are Members, from £4 a month.

“We were running PR, social scheduling and the rest of our marketing across half a dozen tools that never talked. Now we plan, schedule and measure from a single screen.”
