Landing Platform vs Optimizely: A/B tests judged on revenue
Optimizely is an enterprise digital experience suite, packaged individually for each customer. Landing Platform runs A/B tests with serious statistics on the same record as your pages, leads, deals and orders, so a winner is called on revenue, not clicks.

Landing suits you if
- You want tests judged on orders and deals, not just conversions
- You want to see the price before a sales cycle, not after it
- You want the pages, CRM and analytics in the same system as the tests
Where the testing budget goes.
Optimizely is built for large digital teams. Smaller ones often pay for the scale without using it.
A plan built around a call
Optimizely says every plan is individually packaged. You find out what testing costs after the demo, not before it.
Winners on the wrong number
A test tool that stops at the website sees the click. The deal it turned into sits in another system, weeks later.
Suite by the piece
Web testing, feature testing and content management are separate products in its range, so the bill grows as you add them.
Landing Platform vs Optimizely, line by line.
On website testing, our statistics go as deep as the dedicated tools. The difference is that the result lands on the same record as your revenue.

What it costs, side by side.
Optimizely packages each plan for the customer. Landing publishes its price: full seats for the people who build and test, light seats for everyone else.

Optimizely, as it lists it
How Optimizely sells, as its pricing page describes it.
And still to buy separately: a CRM, forms, email and, for most teams, an analytics and replay tool.
a month on Landing, billed yearly, ex VAT
Includes A/B testing with sequential and Bayesian stats, session replay and heatmaps, web analytics, pages, forms, CRM, email and checkout. The price does not move with your traffic.
Work out your own priceExample team: three people who build pages and run tests, six who review results, pick up tasks and approve. Scale is billed yearly.
Switching is our job, not yours.
We move you over one tool a month, against success criteria we agree with you up front. You don't pay until we prove each one is ready.
We map your stack
Show us your Optimizely setup and the tools around it. We agree what moves where, and what "ready" means for each tool, before you commit to anything.
We move your tests across
Live and past experiments move with their variations, goals and audiences, and Convert tests import directly. Everything imported stays switched off until someone on your team puts it live.
You sign it off
Billing starts only when we have shown it works against the criteria you set. Then we move the next tool, one a month.
But we already use Optimizely.
Fair. Here are the questions teams ask us most when they're weighing it up.
Are your statistics as rigorous as Optimizely's?
You choose the method per test. Sequential frequentist stays valid however often you look, so checking every morning never inflates false winners. Bayesian on conversion or on revenue per visitor shows the chance to beat control and the risk in pounds. Sample-ratio mismatch is flagged and false positives are controlled across secondary goals before a winner is called.
Can a test be judged on deals as well as orders?
Yes. Every form fill is tagged with its variant and lands in the same CRM your sales team closes from, so you can follow a variant from first visit to won deal. No export, no matching two systems by email address.
We came from Convert before Optimizely. Does that help?
It does. Convert tests import directly, with variations, goals, audiences and locations, and images re-hosted. For Optimizely we move your live and past experiments as part of the switch, and nothing imported goes live until you say so.
Who needs a full seat?
Only the people who build and run tests. Anyone who reviews results, picks up tasks or approves is a Member, from £4 a month. Clients and guests are free.

“We were running PR, social scheduling and the rest of our marketing across half a dozen tools that never talked. Now we plan, schedule and measure from a single screen.”
