Compare / Wappalyzer

Tech stack on every company, not just the tab you have open.

Wappalyzer made technology lookups familiar with its browser extension, and sells lookups, lead lists and API credits by the month. Landing checks the website of every company in your CRM by itself, keeps the result on the record and shows you when it changes.

Landing suits you if

  • You want every account's stack without opening each site
  • You want to see when a client adds a tool
  • You want the answer beside the deal, the contacts and the emails

One tab at a time.

An extension answers the site in front of you. Your pipeline has hundreds.

Lookups are metered

Paid plans come with a set number of lookups a month, and a free account gets 50.

Credits that expire

API credits included in plans expire after 60 days, as its pricing page states.

Outside the record

What you find lives in another tool until it's synced or copied onto the company.

Landing Platform vs Wappalyzer, line by line.

Wappalyzer looks up a site when you ask. Landing keeps the stack of every company you work with, and keeps it current.

What it costs, side by side.

Wappalyzer meters lookups and users. On Landing you pay for the people who use it and the contacts you market to, and the stack comes with the CRM.

Work out your own price

Example team: two people who sell and run accounts every day, four who deliver, log time and approve. Wappalyzer lists its prices in dollars, so we show them as published rather than converting.

Switching is our job, not yours.

We move you over one tool a month, against success criteria we agree with you up front. You don't pay until we prove each one is ready.

Step 1

We map your stack

Show us how you use Wappalyzer today and the tools around it. Bring the lists and lookups your team relies on. We agree what "ready" means for each one before you commit to anything.

Step 2

We move your companies across

We move your companies, contacts and deals as part of the switch. Each company with a website is looked at as it arrives, so nobody opens a tab to find out.

Step 3

You sign it off

Billing starts only when we have shown it works against the criteria you set. Then we move the next tool, one a month.

Free monthsEvery £1,000 a month you switch off earns a free month, up to three.
Billing starts when it's readyWe prove the switch works before your first invoice.
OnboardingOne month's fee, from £500, paid when your first switch is signed off.
Price lockedYour yearly price is locked for two years.

But the extension is free.

For a quick look, it is. Here's what teams ask about the rest.

Does Landing need a browser extension?

No. Landing reads each company's public home page, tag manager and DNS records from its own servers, and the result sits on the company in the CRM for the whole team.

What if a website blocks the check?

Landing says it couldn't read the site and tries again later. A site that blocked the check is never recorded as running nothing, and whatever was already known is kept.

Is there a lookup allowance to watch?

No. Companies are looked at when they're added, when their website changes, and again after 30 days, with open deals and current clients checked daily.

Can the whole team see it?

Yes. It's on every company page. People who pick up tasks, log time and approve are Members, from £4 a month, and clients are free.

“We were running PR, social scheduling and the rest of our marketing across half a dozen tools that never talked. Now we plan, schedule and measure from a single screen.”
