Landing Platform vs Hotjar: replay joined to analytics and tests
Hotjar shows you how people use your site. Landing Platform shows you too, with session replay and heatmaps inside the analytics, and then lets you edit the page, test the fix and follow the lead into the CRM.

Landing suits you if
- You want replay and heatmaps beside your analytics, not in another tab
- You want to fix and test the page where you found the problem
- You want a price that does not climb with your sessions
Where watching turns into work elsewhere.
Hotjar is easy to love. What you do about what you see happens somewhere else.
Priced by sessions
Hotjar is now sold on Contentsquare's pricing page, priced by monthly sessions. More visitors, bigger plan.
The fix is another tool
You spot the problem in a recording, then open the page builder, the testing tool and the analytics to do anything about it.
Visitors without names
A recording shows a session. It rarely shows which lead or customer it was, or whether they ever bought.
Landing Platform vs Hotjar, line by line.
Replay and heatmaps included, then everything you need to act on them. On one record, for one price.

Plan tags show where a feature starts on Landing: Core, Growth or Scale. Hotjar details reflect its publicly available information as of September 2026; check current details on its own site.
What it costs, side by side.
Hotjar's plans step up with your monthly sessions. On Landing, replay and heatmaps are part of Growth and the price follows your team, not your traffic.

Hotjar, as it lists it
How Hotjar is sold today, on the Contentsquare pricing page it now redirects to.
And still to buy separately: a page builder, a testing tool, web analytics, forms and a CRM.
a month on Landing, billed yearly, ex VAT
Includes session replay and heatmaps, web analytics, funnels, attribution, pages, forms, pop-ups, email flows and a CRM. The price does not move with your sessions.
Work out your own priceExample team: two people who build pages and run campaigns, four who review, pick up tasks and approve. A/B testing is added on Scale.
Switching is our job, not yours.
We move you over one tool a month, against success criteria we agree with you up front. You don't pay until we prove each one is ready.
We map your stack
Show us your Hotjar setup and the tools around it. We agree what moves where, and what "ready" means for each tool, before you commit to anything.
We set up tracking and move the rest
One tag covers analytics, replay and heatmaps on every page you publish or track. We rebuild your surveys as pop-ups and move the tools around Hotjar as part of the switch.
You sign it off
Billing starts only when we have shown it works against the criteria you set. Then we move the next tool, one a month.
But we already use Hotjar.
Fair. Here are the questions teams ask us most when they're weighing it up.
Is your replay private enough for our site?
Recording waits for consent, inputs are masked and payment fields are blocked. Web analytics can also run in a privacy mode with a consent-gated cookie and anonymised IP addresses.
Can we still ask visitors questions?
Yes. NPS and rating questions run as pop-ups, triggered on exit intent, scroll depth or a delay, and the answers land on the contact's record.
What do we do once we have seen the problem?
Fix it where you found it. Edit the page in the builder, and on Scale run the fix as an A/B test judged on conversion or revenue per visitor. The leads it brings in go straight to the CRM.
Does replay cost extra as we grow?
No. Replay and heatmaps are part of the Growth plan, and Growth is priced per person. A busy month does not change the bill.

“We were running PR, social scheduling and the rest of our marketing across half a dozen tools that never talked. Now we plan, schedule and measure from a single screen.”
Watch it, fix it and prove it, in one place.
Thirty minutes on your own site. We will show you replay beside your analytics, what it costs and when billing would start.
