Landing Platform vs Dynamic Yield: personalise and test in one

Personalise the store, test it and sell from it, in one system.

Dynamic Yield, now part of Mastercard, is an enterprise personalisation platform. Landing Platform puts personalised experiences, A/B testing, site search and recommendations beside the checkout, email and CRM that act on them.

Landing suits you if

  • You want personalisation and testing on the same record as your orders
  • You want site search, recommendations and checkout from one supplier
  • You want a price you can read before you talk to anyone

Where personalisation gets expensive.

Dynamic Yield is built for large retail teams. The data it personalises on lives in other systems.

A second customer record

Your orders sit in the store and your email list in another tool. Personalisation needs a feed of each to know who it is talking to.

Priced by conversation

A Dynamic Yield account is not free of charge, and pricing comes from talking to its team, not from a page.

Many tools around it

The shop, the email platform and the analytics are all separate contracts, each with its own view of the customer.

Landing Platform vs Dynamic Yield, line by line.

Personalisation, testing, search and recommendations on one record, next to the checkout and the email that use them.

What it costs, side by side.

Dynamic Yield is priced by its sales team. Landing publishes its price, and the contacts you market to are priced on a sliding scale.

Work out your own price

Example team: four people who run the site, merchandising and campaigns, eight who pick up tasks, review results and approve. Scale is billed yearly.

Switching is our job, not yours.

We move you over one tool a month, against success criteria we agree with you up front. You don't pay until we prove each one is ready.

Step 1

We map your stack

Show us your Dynamic Yield setup and the tools around it. We agree what moves where, and what "ready" means for each tool, before you commit to anything.

Step 2

We move the store across

Our Shopify catalogue sync brings your products over, and we rebuild your personalisation rules, tests and recommendation slots against the same audiences. We check every slot before anything is switched off.

Step 3

You sign it off

Billing starts only when we have shown it works against the criteria you set. Then we move the next tool, one a month.

Free monthsEvery £1,000 a month you switch off earns a free month, up to three.
Billing starts when it's readyWe prove the switch works before your first invoice.
OnboardingOne month's fee, from £500, paid when your first switch is signed off.
Price lockedYour yearly price is locked for two years.

But we already use Dynamic Yield.

Fair. Here are the questions teams ask us most when they're weighing it up.

Can Landing personalise the site without running a test?

Yes. A deploy shows a change to the audience you choose, on the same targeting rules as a test: page, device, location, source and behaviour. When you want proof, turn it into a test with sequential or Bayesian stats.

How good is your site search?

We measured it against Klevu, Nosto and Boost. Landing was the fastest of the four: 174ms cold, and fastest under load, with Klevu 2.6 times slower at ten concurrent searches. Cutter & Squidge moved their site search from Nosto to Landing.

Does personalisation reach email too?

Yes. Blocks in an email can show or hide by segment, and segments are built on the whole record: orders, forms, email activity and events you send us.

Who on the ecommerce team needs a full seat?

The people who build pages, campaigns and tests. Everyone who reviews results or picks up tasks is a Member, from £4 a month.

“We were running PR, social scheduling and the rest of our marketing across half a dozen tools that never talked. Now we plan, schedule and measure from a single screen.”
