Landing Platform vs Resource Guru: bookings joined to the work
Resource Guru is a tidy scheduler for people, rooms and kit. Landing puts capacity where the work already lives: the project's tasks, each person's working week, and leave approved in HR. The same record then logs the hours, raises the invoice and shows the margin.

Landing suits you if
- You want bookings, leave and projects on one record
- You want timesheets and reports without moving up a plan
- You'd rather not pay full price for people who never log in
Where the bookings stop.
A booking says someone is busy. It doesn't say whether the work pays.
Paying for people who never log in
Resource Guru charges for everyone you add, whether they log in or not, and rooms and equipment are charged per resource too.
Timesheets and reports a plan up
On its entry plan, timesheets and reports aren't included; they start on Blackbelt.
Bookings away from the project
The project, its budget and the client sit in another tool, so a booking and a deadline can disagree without anyone noticing.
Landing Platform vs Resource Guru, line by line.
Landing gives you capacity and leave per person, built from the projects themselves, then the hours, invoices and margin those bookings turn into.

Resource Guru, as it lists it
How Resource Guru is sold, as its pricing page lists it, billed yearly (September 2026).
And still to buy separately: a project tool, invoicing, an HR app and a CRM.

Includes capacity, workloads, leave, projects, Gantt, timesheets filled from Outlook, invoicing, CRM, email, helpdesk and HR. Profit per client is on Growth.
Work out your own priceExample team: four people who plan projects and resourcing every day, twenty-six who get booked, log time and request leave. Credits for AI, SMS and lookups come from a shared pool each Builder adds to.
Switching is our job, not yours.
We move you over one tool a month, against success criteria we agree with you up front. You don't pay until we prove each one is ready.
We map your stack
Show us your Resource Guru setup and the tools around it. We agree what moves where, and what "ready" means for each tool, before you commit to anything.
We move Resource Guru across
We bring your people, clients, projects, bookings and leave balances across as part of the switch, and set each person's working week. We check next month's capacity matches before you switch off.
You sign it off
Billing starts only when we have shown it works against the criteria you set. Then we move the next tool, one a month.
But booking is all we need.
Fair. Here are the questions resource managers ask us most.
How do bookings work in Landing?
A task's estimated hours are spread across the working days between its start and due dates, so the booking lives on the work itself. Move the deadline and the capacity moves with it.
What happens to our leave balances?
They move across, and from then on leave runs in Landing: balances, carry-over, bank holidays and part-time patterns per person, with approvals from the email and leave taken off capacity automatically.
Can we see who is over-booked before it happens?
Yes. Capacity shows available hours as a negative number when someone is over-booked, per person and per department, up to twelve weeks ahead.
Do people who only get booked need a full seat?
No. They're Members, from £4 a month, and they book leave and log time from their phone.
Planning next year's leave?
