Landing Platform vs Tableau: dashboards without creator seats
Tableau is a powerful visual analytics tool, priced by what each person is allowed to do with data. Landing's Studio lets anyone with access type a question about deals, hours, invoices, orders or tickets and get a chart, then save it and share a link that keeps itself up to date.

Landing suits you if
- You want answers without licensing people by role
- You want your business data ready to ask, with no prep step
- You want shared dashboards that refresh without anyone publishing them
Where the dashboards wait.
The chart is the easy part. Everything before it takes the time.
Licensed by what you do
Tableau prices Creator, Explorer and Viewer roles per user, and every deployment needs at least one Creator.
Data to connect and shape
Before the first dashboard, someone has to connect each source and shape the data, then keep it that way.
A yearly contract
Tableau products are sold on an annual contract, billed annually.
Landing Platform vs Tableau, line by line.
Landing's Studio answers everyday business questions from the data it already holds, for anyone with access. Then it runs the teams the data comes from.

| Other sources | Web analytics, Google Ads, Facebook, Microsoft, Google Sheets and uploads, blended when you need itGrowth | Wide range of connectors |
| Sharing | A link that republishes itself hourly or daily; visitors never run a queryGrowth | Viewer licences |
| Trusting the answer | Every tile shows the dataset, period and filters it usedGrowth | Set by the workbook author |
| Refining | Ask "and by client" and the chart updates; a thumbs-down with a reason teaches it your dataGrowth | Edit in the workbook |

What it costs, side by side.
Tableau prices each person by role on an annual contract. Landing's Studio comes with Growth, and it sits on the systems whose data it reads.

Tableau, as it lists it

And still to build or buy: the data preparation, and every system the data comes from.
a month on Landing, billed yearly, ex VAT
Includes Studio dashboards, Company Health, the CRM, projects, timesheets, invoicing, profit per client, email, helpdesk and HR the answers come from.
Work out your own priceExample team: five people who run sales, delivery and finance every day, fifteen who log time, approve and read dashboards. Credits for AI, SMS and lookups come from a shared pool each Builder adds to.
Switching is our job, not yours.
We move you over one tool a month, against success criteria we agree with you up front. You don't pay until we prove each one is ready.
We map your stack
Show us your Tableau setup and the tools around it. We agree what moves where, and what "ready" means for each tool, before you commit to anything.
We rebuild the views you use
We list the Tableau dashboards people actually open, rebuild them in Studio from the same business data, and set each shared link to refresh on a schedule. We check the numbers agree before you switch off.
You sign it off
Billing starts only when we have shown it works against the criteria you set. Then we move the next tool, one a month.
But our analysts love Tableau.
Fair. Here are the questions finance and ops leads ask us most.
Who can build a dashboard in Landing?
Anyone with access to the data. They type the question, check the chart and save it. Access profiles decide which sources each person may ask about, so pay and finance stay with the right people.
How do we know a chart is right?
Every tile shows which dataset answered, the period actually loaded and every filter applied. Dates are compared as dates, today is always known, and a question about a field that doesn't exist is refused rather than guessed.
Can clients see a dashboard?
Yes. Share it as a link and it republishes itself daily by default, or hourly. Visitors see the published snapshot and never touch your live data.
Does it learn our language?
Yes. A thumbs-down carries a reason, a refined chart counts as a correction, and those become examples for your own company only.
Where do your team's hours go?
The free utilisation calculator shows billable hours and what they are worth a year.
“We were running PR, social scheduling and the rest of our marketing across half a dozen tools that never talked. Now we plan, schedule and measure from a single screen.”
Let everyone ask the data, not just the analysts.
