Compare / ThoughtSpot
Ask about the business in plain English, and get the answer it actually holds.
ThoughtSpot made search-style analytics famous. Landing brings the same idea to the data a growing business runs on: deals, hours, invoices, campaigns, orders and tickets, already in one system. Ask, get the chart, save it, and share a link that updates itself.

Landing suits you if
- You want plain-English answers without a data stack behind them
- You want the question and the work it's about in one login
- You want answers that say what they assumed, and refuse to guess
Where search-style analytics gets hard.
The questions are easy to type. Getting the answers to be about your business is the work.
The data has to arrive first
Search is only as good as the tables behind it. Your deals, hours and invoices still live in separate tools that have to be connected and kept tidy.
Seats and credits
Plans are priced per user, or by credits for AI queries, so more curious people means a bigger bill.
The answer stops at the chart
You find the problem, then switch to another tool to fix it. The report and the work never meet.
Landing Platform vs ThoughtSpot, line by line.
ThoughtSpot searches the data you bring to it. Landing answers from the data your team already works in, with the reasoning shown on every tile.
| Feature | Landing Platform | ThoughtSpot |
|---|---|---|
| Asking in plain English | Ask a question, get a chart. It routes to the right data, reads your fiscal calendar, and matches "SaxonAir" to the client it really meansGrowth | Natural-language search and Spotter AI agents on Pro |
| Honest answers | Every tile shows its data, period and filters. A filter it can't apply is refused, never quietly droppedGrowth | Answers over the model you set up |
| Where the data comes from | Deals, leads, invoices, estimates, email sends, orders, tickets, bookings, timesheets, project budgets, capacity and web analytics, plus Google Ads, Facebook Ads, Microsoft 365 and the files and Excel sheets you addGrowth | Your connected data |
| Setting it up | Landing's own data needs no connecting: it is already joined on one record | Connect and model your sources |
| Sharing | A saved dashboard on a link that refreshes itself hourly or daily. Readers need no loginGrowth | Shared with licensed users |
| Access control | Each source sits behind its own permission, so pay and invoices stay privateGrowth | Governance, fuller on Enterprise |
| The CRM, projects and timesheets | Included, so the answer and the fix sit side by sideCore | Not a product it offers |
| Profit per client | Every hour costed at the person's real rate against what the client paysGrowth | Only if you model it yourself |
| Web analytics | Funnels, cohorts and UTM tracking, built inCore | Report on it from another tool |
| AI agents | Claude and other agents sign in with your permissions and ask the same dataGrowth | Spotter agents, with query allowances by plan |

What it costs, side by side.
ThoughtSpot charges per user or per credit for the analytics. Landing includes the analytics with the system that holds the data.

ThoughtSpot, as it lists it

And still to buy separately: the CRM, timesheets, invoicing and email tools the answers are about.
a month on Landing, billed yearly, ex VAT
Includes Studio dashboards, web analytics, CRM, projects, timesheets, invoicing, email, profit per client and AI across the platform.
Work out your own priceExample team: five people who run sales, marketing and delivery every day, twenty who log time, pick up tasks and read the dashboards. AI draws from a shared credit pool each Builder adds to.
Switching is our job, not yours.
We move you over one tool a month, against success criteria we agree with you up front. You don't pay until we prove each one is ready.
We map your reports
Show us the ThoughtSpot reports people actually open, and the tools behind them. We agree which move, which retire, and what "ready" means for each, before you commit to anything.
We rebuild them on live data
We move your data as part of the switch, then save the questions your team asks most as Studio dashboards. Because the CRM, timesheets, invoices and campaigns already live in Landing, most tiles need no connector at all. We check each one against the figure you trust today.
You sign it off
Billing starts only when we have shown it works against the criteria you set. Then we move the next tool, one a month.
But we already use ThoughtSpot.
Fair. Here are the questions teams ask us most when they're weighing it up.
Is this really the same idea as ThoughtSpot search?
The same idea: type a question, get a chart. The difference is what sits underneath. Landing answers from the CRM, timesheets, invoices, campaigns, orders and tickets your team already works in, so there is no warehouse to fill first.
How do we know an answer is right?
Every tile states the data, the period loaded and each filter it applied. If you name a client that doesn't match, it tells you what it read instead. If it can't answer, it says so rather than drawing something close.
Can we keep asking follow-up questions?
Yes. Refine a tile ("and by client", "only last quarter"), or ask something new. The conversation survives a reload, and answers you rate well teach it your team's way of asking.
Does everyone need a paid seat to ask?
People who read dashboards and pick up tasks are Members, from £4 a month. Clients see shared links free.
How busy is the team, really?

“We were running PR, social scheduling and the rest of our marketing across half a dozen tools that never talked. Now we plan, schedule and measure from a single screen.”
Ask anything. Then fix it in the same place.
Thirty minutes on your own data. We'll show you the questions it answers, what it replaces and when billing would start.
