Landing Platform vs Float: capacity on the same record as work

Stop keeping a second copy of the plan.

Float gives you a clean schedule, as long as someone keeps it in step with the projects. In Landing the schedule is the work: task estimates spread across the working days they're due, leave from approved requests, and each person's real working week. Capacity, timesheets and margin read off one set of numbers.

Landing suits you if

  • You're tired of updating the schedule after the project changes
  • You want leave and working patterns in capacity without re-entering them
  • You want the plan, the hours and the margin in one place

Where the schedule drifts.

A separate schedule is only right on the day someone updates it.

Two plans to keep in step

The project tool says one thing and Float says another. Every date change is typed twice, or it isn't.

Time tracking a plan up

Time tracking and financial dashboards are on Float's Pro plan, charged for every scheduled person.

Capacity without the cost

A schedule shows who is busy. It doesn't show which client the busy hours make money on until someone joins it to timesheets and invoices.

Landing Platform vs Float, line by line.

Landing gives you the capacity picture Float is known for, built from the work itself. Then it carries on to the timesheets, invoices and margin behind it.

What it costs, side by side.

Float charges for every person on the schedule, with time tracking on Pro. Landing charges full price only for the people who plan and run the work; the people being scheduled are Members.

Work out your own price

Example team: four people who plan projects and resourcing every day, twenty who get scheduled, log time and book leave. Credits for AI, SMS and lookups come from a shared pool each Builder adds to.

Switching is our job, not yours.

We move you over one tool a month, against success criteria we agree with you up front. You don't pay until we prove each one is ready.

Step 1

We map your stack

Show us your Float setup and the tools around it. We agree what moves where, and what "ready" means for each tool, before you commit to anything.

Step 2

We move Float across

We bring your people, projects and planned allocations across as part of the switch, set each person's working week and leave balances, and check next month's capacity matches before you switch off.

Step 3

You sign it off

Billing starts only when we have shown it works against the criteria you set. Then we move the next tool, one a month.

Free monthsEvery £1,000 a month you switch off earns a free month, up to three.
Billing starts when it's readyWe prove the switch works before your first invoice.
OnboardingOne month's fee, from £500, paid when your first switch is signed off.
Price lockedYour yearly price is locked for two years.

But our resourcing lives in Float.

Fair. Here are the questions resource managers ask us most.

How does Landing know who is booked?

From the work. Each task's estimated hours are spread across the working days between its start and due dates, so moving a deadline moves the capacity with it. Nothing is typed into a second schedule.

Does leave come off capacity automatically?

Yes. Approved leave, bank holidays and each person's working pattern are taken off before anything else, so a four-day week never shows as spare Friday hours.

Can we see capacity by department?

Yes. Capacity rolls up by department and by person, two to twelve weeks ahead, and Company Health shows utilisation against target and the projects at risk on one screen.

Does everyone on the schedule need a full seat?

No. People who get scheduled, log time and book leave are Members, from £4 a month.

Can you take on the next project?

The free capacity calculator gives a yes, tight or no, with leave already taken off.

“We were running PR, social scheduling and the rest of our marketing across half a dozen tools that never talked. Now we plan, schedule and measure from a single screen.”
