Landing Platform vs Geckoboard: office screens on live data

Put the whole business on the office screen, not just the metrics.

Geckoboard puts KPIs from your tools on a TV. Landing runs the business those KPIs come from: HR, timesheets, the helpdesk, projects and the CRM. So the office screen can show who's in today, this week's goals from Monday's stand-up and who is behind on timesheets, live, without a connector in sight.

Landing suits you if

  • You want the office screen to show the team as well as the numbers
  • You don't want to count screens, editors and dashboards
  • You want the data on the wall to come from the system you run on

Where KPI screens run out.

The wall shows the number. It doesn't know who is in, or what the team promised this week.

Counted three ways

Plans are sized on dashboards, editors and screens, and each extra one is priced on top.

Numbers without the people

A KPI screen shows metrics from your tools. Who's away, today's host and this week's goals live somewhere else.

Every source is another tool

The screen reads your CRM, helpdesk and spreadsheets, and you still pay for each of them.

Landing Platform vs Geckoboard, line by line.

Geckoboard is a focused KPI dashboard for screens. Landing's office screen reads the whole business, because the business runs on Landing.

What it costs, side by side.

Geckoboard charges a plan sized on dashboards, editors and screens. Landing charges for your team, and the office screen comes with the system.

Work out your own price

Example team: three people who run the business in Landing every day, fifteen who book leave, log time and pick up tasks. The screen itself costs nothing extra.

Switching is our job, not yours.

We move you over one tool a month, against success criteria we agree with you up front. You don't pay until we prove each one is ready.

Step 1

We map your screens

Show us what is on your Geckoboard screens today and where the numbers come from. We agree which slides move, which become live, and what "ready" looks like, before you commit to anything.

Step 2

We build the live slides

Team today, the morning brief, weekly goals, time logged and the support queue read Landing directly. Figures from tools you keep come in as a Google Sheet or a web page. Each screen is a share link, so any TV with a browser shows it. We check every slide against the data behind it.

Step 3

You sign it off

Billing starts only when we have shown it works against the criteria you set. Then we move the next tool, one a month.

Free monthsEvery £1,000 a month you switch off earns a free month, up to three.

But we already use Geckoboard.

Fair. Here are the questions teams ask us most when they're weighing it up.

What hardware does the screen need?

Any TV or monitor with a browser. The screen is a share link that needs no login, and it runs for weeks on one page load, updating itself when anything changes.

Will personal data end up on the wall?

No. Team today says "Away" or "Working from home", never the reason or a balance, and time logged shows status only unless you switch hours on for that slide.

Can a slide show only at certain times?

Yes. Give a slide a schedule, say Friday 9 to 10 for the week's goals, and it takes the screen for that window. Each slide can have its own duration too.

Can we still show numbers from other tools?

Yes. A Google Sheet or CSV slide shows any feed as a table or cards, and a web page slide shows any page full screen.

“We were running PR, social scheduling and the rest of our marketing across half a dozen tools that never talked. Now we plan, schedule and measure from a single screen.”
