Landing Platform vs Drip: ecommerce email with CRM and checkout

Ecommerce email that can see the whole customer.

Drip is ecommerce email marketing, priced by the size of your list. Landing gives you the email and SMS flows, then joins them to a CRM, your own checkout, a helpdesk and the team's projects, so every message knows what happened next.

Landing suits you if

  • You want email joined to deals, tickets and orders on one record
  • You'd like your own checkout, not only a connection to one
  • You want one login for marketing, sales, service and delivery

Where email on its own runs out.

Drip handles the email. The customer lives in four other places.

A list that sets the bill

Pricing climbs with the number of people on your list, and SMS is billed on top.

No pipeline

Trade enquiries, wholesale deals and quotes live in a separate CRM your flows can't read.

Support in another tab

Complaints and returns sit in a helpdesk, so a flow can't tell who is waiting on an answer.

Plan tags show where a feature starts on Landing: Core, Growth or Scale. Drip details reflect its publicly available plans as of 2026; check current details on its own site.

What it costs, side by side.

Drip prices by the size of your list and bills SMS separately. Landing charges for the people who build in it, keeps your first 2,500 contacts free, and draws SMS from a shared pool.

Switching is our job, not yours.

We move you over one tool a month, against success criteria we agree with you up front. You don't pay until we prove each one is ready.

Step 1

We map your stack

Show us Drip, your store and the tools around them. We agree what moves where, and what ready means, before you commit.

Step 2

We move Drip across

Moving your data is part of the switch: people with consent and tags, segments and your core workflows. Shopify catalogues sync straight in, and CSV imports cover the rest.

Step 3

You sign it off

Billing starts only when we have shown it works against the criteria you set. Then we move the next tool, one a month.

Free monthsEvery £1,000 a month you switch off earns a free month, up to three.
Billing starts when it's readyWe prove the switch works before your first invoice.
OnboardingOne month's fee, from £500, paid when your first switch is signed off.
Price lockedYour yearly price is locked for two years.

But we like Drip's workflows.

Fair. Here are the questions ecommerce teams ask us most.

Are Landing's flows as capable as Drip's workflows?

Flows start from forms, lists, orders, abandoned checkouts, schedules, webhooks and custom events, and steps can branch, split test, send email or SMS, and also create a deal, a project card or a signable document.

Can we keep selling on Shopify?

Yes. Your catalogue syncs in and the Shopify ecommerce flows run from it. If you'd rather, you can also sell through Landing's own checkout.

What happens to our subscribers' consent?

Consent comes across with them. From then on, every consent tick is kept word for word with the time, IP address and browser.

Does a bigger list mean a much bigger bill?

Your first 2,500 contacts are free, and contacts get cheaper per head as the list grows.

“We were running PR, social scheduling and the rest of our marketing across half a dozen tools that never talked. Now we plan, schedule and measure from a single screen.”
