Landing Platform vs Booqable: rentals plus the whole business

Hire it out by the day. Run everything else from the same screen.

Booqable runs the rental counter. Landing runs rentals by the day or night, with deposits and a hire agreement signed at checkout, and puts every booking on a customer your sales, marketing and support teams already share.

Landing suits you if

  • You hire out kit, vehicles or spaces and sell other things too
  • You want deposits, balances and signed agreements handled at checkout
  • You want the CRM, email and helpdesk on the same customer record

Where the rental tool runs out.

Booqable keeps the bookings straight. The rest of the business lives somewhere else.

The customer is in two places

Booqable keeps a customer database for rentals, and your email list, quotes and support inbox keep their own copies somewhere else.

Add-ons stack up

The website builder, mobile point of sale, barcode scanning and extra locations are each listed as a monthly add-on.

Marketing is a hand-off

Email marketing arrives through a Mailchimp connection, so the list that sells your next hire sits in another tool with its own bill.

Landing Platform vs Booqable, line by line.

Booqable is a focused rental system. Landing matches the rental essentials and adds the business around them.

What it costs, side by side.

Booqable charges per account by tier, then adds modules on top. Landing charges for the people who work in it every day, and customers are free.

Work out your own price

Example team: three people who run bookings, sales and marketing every day, four who prepare kit, log time and handle handovers. Card processing is charged by your payment provider.

Switching is our job, not yours.

We move you over one tool a month, against success criteria we agree with you up front. You don't pay until we prove each one is ready.

Step 1

We map your hire business

Show us your Booqable setup: products, rates, deposits and the tools around it. We agree what moves and what "ready" means before you commit.

Step 2

We move Booqable across

We move your data as part of the switch: products and rates, customers and their rental history, and upcoming bookings. We check every future hire is on the calendar before you switch off.

Step 3

You sign it off

Billing starts only when we have shown it works against the criteria you set. Then we move the next tool, one a month.

Free monthsEvery £1,000 a month you switch off earns a free month, up to three.
Billing starts when it's readyWe prove the switch works before your first invoice.
OnboardingOne month's fee, from £500, paid when your first switch is signed off.
Price lockedYour yearly price is locked for two years.

But we already use Booqable.

Fair. Here are the questions hire businesses ask us most.

Does Landing handle deposits the way a hire business needs?

Yes, and it keeps them apart. A booking deposit is a part-payment of the hire. A security deposit is a refundable hold on the customer's card against damage, never counted as revenue. The balance is charged to the saved card a set number of days before pickup, or marked paid at handover.

Can customers sign the hire agreement online?

Yes, at checkout. The reserve button stays locked until the agreement is signed, the exact wording is fingerprinted when they sign, and the signed copy sits on the booking and the customer record.

What stops two people booking the same item?

Each checkout places a short hold on the dates while the customer pays, and each hire blocks the turnaround days you set. If you stock several of one item, Landing counts how many are out at once.

Do our customers count as seats?

No. Hirers, shoppers and clients are guests, and guests are free. You pay for Builders from £29 a month and Members from £4 a month.

Sending hire invoices by hand?

“We were running PR, social scheduling and the rest of our marketing across half a dozen tools that never talked. Now we plan, schedule and measure from a single screen.”
