Landing Platform vs Epos Now: till, online shop and CRM as one

One customer and one stock count, from the counter to the checkout.

Epos Now sells tills, card machines and software on a quote, with loyalty, online selling, email and accounts through integrations. Landing's till sells from the same products and stock as your Landing online shop, and puts every in-store sale on the customer your email and support teams already see.

Landing suits you if

  • You sell in store and online and want one stock count
  • You want in-store buyers in your email segments
  • You want a till record that shows if anything was changed

Where the till needs help.

Epos Now gets you selling at the counter. The rest of the business arrives through integrations.

Priced on a call

There's no price list. You get a quote for tills, card machines and software together.

Integrations to hold it together

Loyalty, email, online selling and accounts come through integrations, each with its own login and its own bill.

Two records for one regular

A regular in the shop and the same person online are two records unless an integration joins them.

Landing Platform vs Epos Now, line by line.

At the counter, Landing's till does the daily work. Behind it, the shop, the email and the CRM are the same system.

What it costs, side by side.

Epos Now quotes hardware, software and payments together. Landing publishes its price, and the till, shop, email, CRM and rota come in one plan.

Switching is our job, not yours.

We move you over one tool a month, against success criteria we agree with you up front. You don't pay until we prove each one is ready.

Step 1

We map your stack

Show us your Epos Now setup and the tools around it. We agree what moves where, and what "ready" means for each tool, before you commit to anything.

Step 2

We move Epos Now across

Your products, prices, barcodes, VAT rates and customers move across as part of the switch. We set up your tables, staff permissions and cash-up routine, and run a trial shift before the old till goes.

Step 3

You sign it off

Billing starts only when we have shown it works against the criteria you set. Then we move the next tool, one a month.

Free monthsEvery £1,000 a month you switch off earns a free month, up to three.
Billing starts when it's readyWe prove the switch works before your first invoice.
OnboardingOne month's fee, from £500, paid when your first switch is signed off.
Price lockedYour yearly price is locked for two years.

But we already have Epos Now.

Fair. Here are the questions shop owners and managers ask us most when they are weighing it up.

Does Landing's till work with a barcode scanner?

Yes. A USB scanner works straight away. One product can carry several codes, and an unknown code can be assigned from the shop floor the first time it is scanned.

What does tamper-evident mean for our till?

Every sale, refund and drawer event goes into a chained log. If anything is edited, replaced or removed, the chain shows it. It is built for the UK rules on electronic sales suppression.

How do in-store customers end up in our email segments?

Attach the customer at the till and the sale lands on their contact record, next to their online orders. Segments can then use what they bought, for anyone who has agreed to hear from you.

Do staff on the till need a full seat?

No. People who work the till, pick up shifts and clock in are Members, from £9 a month on Scale. Customers are free.

Planning next month's shifts?

“We were running PR, social scheduling and the rest of our marketing across half a dozen tools that never talked. Now we plan, schedule and measure from a single screen.”
