Landing Platform vs Boost: faster search, one flat plan

Four to five times faster, and it doesn't charge you more as you sell more.

Boost is a Shopify app priced by how much you sell. Landing's site search measured four to five times faster on the same store, turns your own Shopify metafields into filters shoppers can search, and comes with email, a CRM and a helpdesk.

Landing suits you if

  • You've outgrown a GMV tier and want a price that stays put
  • Your best product data lives in Shopify metafields
  • You want search, email and support to see the same shopper

Where the tiers catch up with you.

A good month moves you up a plan.

Priced on your sales

Boost's plans are capped by GMV, so growing your store moves you up a tier.

Your data, unused

The filters shoppers want, like flavour, dietary or material, often live in metafields that search never reads.

A search app, alone

Boost runs search and filters. Email, CRM, support and reporting are still separate subscriptions.

Landing Platform vs Boost AI Search & Filter, line by line.

We measured Boost against Landing on the same live store. Landing answered four to five times faster, and then goes well beyond search.

What it costs, side by side.

Boost prices by GMV, so your tier follows your sales. Landing prices by the people who run the store, whatever you turn over. Site search is in Scale, sold yearly.

Work out your own price

Example team: two people who run the store and its marketing every day, four who handle orders and support. Landing prices are in pounds; Boost lists its prices in dollars, so we show both as published rather than converting. Credits for AI, SMS and lookups come from a shared pool each Builder adds to. Scale is sold yearly only.

Switching is our job, not yours.

We move you over one tool a month, against success criteria we agree with you up front. You don't pay until we prove each one is ready.

Step 1

We map your stack

Show us your Boost setup, your metafields and the tools around them. We agree what moves where, and what "ready" means for search, before you commit.

Step 2

We move Boost across

We index your catalogue with the metafields you filter on, carry your synonyms and rules across, and compare your top searches side by side. We check nothing clashes with Boost's search widget before you go live.

Step 3

You sign it off

Billing starts only when we have shown it works against the criteria you set. Then we move the next tool, one a month.

Free monthsEvery £1,000 a month you switch off earns a free month, up to three.
Billing starts when it's readyWe prove the switch works before your first invoice.
OnboardingOne month's fee, from £500, paid when your first switch is signed off.
Price lockedYour yearly price is locked for two years.

But we already use Boost.

Fair. Here are the questions teams ask us most when they're weighing it up.

How was the speed measured?

On the same live Shopify store, in September 2026, asking each a set of different search terms once. Landing answered in a median 174ms from cold; Boost was four to five times slower. Landing was also the fastest of the four tools we measured.

Can we filter on our own Shopify metafields?

Yes. Pick the metafields you want as filters and Landing indexes them. They're searchable as well as filterable, so the words you curated, like "vegan" or "dairy free", find the right products.

Will Landing cost more as our store grows?

Not because of your sales. You pay for Builders and Members, plus your contact list after the first 2,500. A bigger GMV doesn't move your plan.

Do we have to switch everything on day one?

No. Landing takes over your site search first while the rest of your theme carries on as it is. We make sure only one search widget ever fires, and you switch Boost off when you have seen the numbers.

“We were running PR, social scheduling and the rest of our marketing across half a dozen tools that never talked. Now we plan, schedule and measure from a single screen.”
