Landing Platform vs Clerk.io: search, email and the rest
Clerk.io sells search, recommendations, chat, email and audience as separate products, each priced by usage. Landing does all five jobs in one system, then adds the CRM, checkout, helpdesk, projects and team that sit behind the store.

Landing suits you if
- You want one price, not five usage meters
- You want email, chat and search reading the same customer record
- You want sales, support and finance in the same place as the store
Where the meters add up.
Clerk.io covers a lot of the store. Each part runs its own meter.
Five meters
Search is priced per search, recommendations per recommendation, email per opened email: five usage meters to forecast.
Custom work by the hour
Work beyond the product is billed by the hour, through Clerk.io Workday.
Still not the whole business
Even with all five, you still need a CRM, a helpdesk, checkout and invoicing somewhere else.

Clerk.io, as it lists it
How Clerk.io is sold, as its pricing page lists it.
And still to buy separately: a CRM, a helpdesk, checkout and invoicing.

Work out your own priceExample team: three people who run the store and its marketing every day, six who handle orders, support and approvals. Clerk.io figure as listed on its site, September 2026. Credits for AI, SMS and lookups come from a shared pool each Builder adds to.
Switching is our job, not yours.
We move you over one tool a month, against success criteria we agree with you up front. You don't pay until we prove each one is ready.
We map your stack
Show us your Clerk.io setup and the tools around it. We agree what moves where, and what "ready" means for each tool, before you commit to anything.
We move Clerk.io across
We index your catalogue, match your current results on your top searches, and bring your synonyms, redirects and rules across as part of the switch. Search goes live styled to your theme, with no rebuild.
You sign it off
Billing starts only when we have shown it works against the criteria you set. Then we move the next tool, one a month.
But Clerk.io already does search and email.
It does. Here are the questions store teams ask us most when they are weighing it up.
We use Clerk.io for search and email together. Is Landing the same idea?
The same idea, taken further. Search, recommendations, email, segments and chat share one customer record on Landing, and so do the CRM, the helpdesk, checkout and invoicing. One login, one price.
How do Landing's recommendations decide what to show?
Each slot runs one of six strategies. If it can't fill, it falls back through affinity, trending, popularity and newest, so a slot is never empty, and the report tells you which step filled it.
Will our email bill rise every time someone opens an email?
No. Landing doesn't charge per send or per open. Your first 2,500 contacts are free, and each band after costs less per contact than the one before.
Does search keep its speed on a busy day?
We measured it against Klevu, Nosto and Boost. Landing was the fastest of the four cold, at 174ms, and the fastest under load.
What is your stack really costing?
