Landing Platform vs Circle: courses joined to your CRM

Know which members became customers, and what they're worth.

Circle hosts communities, courses and events. Landing puts your courses, memberships and email on the same record as your CRM, invoices and support, so every member is a customer you can see, sell to and serve.

Landing suits you if

  • Your community feeds a wider business: coaching, services or products
  • You want email marketing included, not an add-on by contact
  • You want members, deals and invoices on one record

Where the community stops and the business starts.

Circle runs the space. The sales and money around it run elsewhere.

Email is an add-on

Email Hub is listed as an add-on on most plans, priced per block of contacts.

A cut of payments

Circle takes a transaction fee on payments, from 2% on Professional down to 0.5% on Plus.

No view of value

Members, buyers and clients sit in different tools, so nobody can say what a member is worth.

Landing Platform vs Circle, line by line.

Circle is built for community. Landing is built for the business the community serves.

Plan tags show where a feature starts on Landing: Core, Growth or Scale. Circle details reflect its publicly available plans as of 2026; check current details on its own site.

What it costs, side by side.

Circle prices by plan, adds a fee on payments, and sells email as an add-on. Landing charges for your team and your contacts, with email included.

Work out your own price

Example team: three people who run content, marketing and sales, two who support members. Circle lists its prices in dollars, so we show them as published. Card processing is charged by your payment provider.

Moving the business side is our job.

We move you over one tool a month, against success criteria we agree with you up front. You don't pay until we prove each one is ready.

Step 1

We map your stack

We look at your Circle setup and the tools around it: courses, paid tiers, your email list, CRM and invoicing. We agree what moves and what "ready" means.

Step 2

We move it across

We move your data as part of the switch: courses and lessons, paying members and what they own, and your email list with its consent.

Step 3

You sign it off

Billing starts only when we have shown it works against the criteria you set. Then we move the next tool, one a month.

Free monthsEvery £1,000 a month you switch off earns a free month, up to three.
Billing starts when it's readyWe prove the switch works before your first invoice.
OnboardingOne month's fee, from £500, paid when your first switch is signed off.
Price lockedYour yearly price is locked for two years.

But we already use Circle.

Fair. Here are the questions membership businesses ask us most.

Where does our community conversation happen on Landing?

On the courses themselves: comments on every lesson and reviews on every course. Around it you get what Circle leaves to other tools: a CRM, email included in the plan, invoices and a helpdesk, all on the member's record.

Is email really included?

Yes. Campaigns and flows are in every plan. You pay for contacts in bands after the first 2,500 free, not for an email add-on on top.

Can we see which members became paying clients?

Yes. A member is a contact in the CRM, so their courses, orders, deals, invoices and support tickets sit on one record.

Do members count as seats?

No. Members and students are guests, and guests are free. You pay for your team: Builders from £29 a month.

“We were running PR, social scheduling and the rest of our marketing across half a dozen tools that never talked. Now we plan, schedule and measure from a single screen.”
