Landing Platform vs Personio: HR, leave and rota in one
Personio is a capable HR system, sold as a plan with apps on top. Landing gives you records, leave, a native shift rota, clock-in and timesheets in every plan, and joins them to the projects, clients and invoices your team works on.

Landing suits you if
- You run shifts and want the rota in the same place as leave
- You want timesheets that feed project cost and client profit
- You would rather one plan than a plan plus apps
Where the HR system runs out.
Personio covers core HR. The rota and the work sit around it.
The rota lives next door
Shift planning comes through marketplace integrations, so the rota has its own tool and its own login.
Apps on top of the plan
Recruiting, surveys, performance and compensation are apps you add to Core or Core Pro.
Hours stop at attendance
Clock-ins show who worked. They do not show which client the hours were for or whether that client made money.
Landing Platform vs Personio, line by line.
Landing is level with Personio on everyday HR and goes further on shifts, time and money.

Personio, as it lists it
How Personio is sold, as its public pages describe it.
And still to buy separately: a shift rota, projects, a CRM and invoicing.
a month on Landing, billed yearly, ex VAT
Includes HR records, leave, shift rota with kiosk clock-in, timesheets, reviews and pay bands, projects, profit per client and CRM.
Work out your own priceExample company: two people who run HR and operations every day, forty-three who book leave, work shifts, log time and approve. No marketing contacts. Credits for AI, SMS and lookups come from a shared pool each Builder adds to.
Switching is our job, not yours.
We move you over one tool a month, against success criteria we agree with you up front. You don't pay until we prove each one is ready.
We map Personio and the rota
Your fields, absence policies, attendance setup and the rota tool beside it. We write down what "ready" means.
We move it across
We move your data as part of the switch: people, history, balances and documents, with shift patterns rebuilt on the Landing rota.
You sign it off
Billing starts only once it meets the criteria you agreed. Then we move the next tool, one a month.
But we already use Personio.
Fair. Here are the questions HR and operations leads ask us most.
Is the rota really native, or another integration?
Native. Week, day and month views per branch, open shifts people can claim, swaps, availability, a coverage heatmap, kiosk PIN clock-in and UK Working Time checks, all on the same record as leave and pay.
Does approved leave show on the rota and the timesheet?
Yes. Approved leave appears on the timesheet by itself, never double-counts hours someone typed, and never reaches a client's bill.
We only need HR. Why pay for projects and a CRM?
You don't pay for them separately: they come in the same plan. When one team starts using them, their hours, clients and invoices are already on the records HR keeps.
How do you handle part-time and four-day weeks?
Each person has their own working week: which days and how many hours. A four-day week means Friday is never missing time, and every capacity figure uses it.
Planning shifts?
Start with the free staff rota template and see who covers what.
“We were running PR, social scheduling and the rest of our marketing across half a dozen tools that never talked. Now we plan, schedule and measure from a single screen.”
