Landing Platform vs Copper: the CRM and the rest of the business

Your CRM lives next to your inbox. Your business needs more than an inbox.

Copper is a CRM designed around Google Workspace, with pipelines, tasks and projects that sit beside Gmail. Landing gives you the CRM and the rest of the company: marketing, quotes, e-signature, invoicing, timesheets, a helpdesk and HR, on one record.

Landing suits you if

  • You want marketing and sales on the same contact record, not two systems
  • You want quotes, signatures and invoices to follow the deal automatically
  • You want time and profit per client next to the projects you win

Where the Google-first CRM runs out.

Copper keeps the relationship tidy. The work around it still lives elsewhere.

Integrations instead of products

Signing, accounting and messaging arrive through integrations to other paid tools, from the Professional plan up.

Contacts capped by plan

Each plan carries a contact limit, and email series and custom reports sit on the top plan.

Projects without the money

You can track projects, but time, retainers and profit per client sit in another tool or a spreadsheet.

Landing Platform vs Copper, line by line.

On contacts, pipelines and tasks Landing is level with Copper. It then adds the marketing, money and people work that Copper integrates with rather than includes.

Plan tags show where a feature starts on Landing: Core, Growth or Scale. Copper details reflect its publicly available plans as of 2026; check current details on its own site.

What it costs, side by side.

Copper charges per user across three plans, with contact limits on the first two. Landing charges full price only for the people who work in it every day, and your first 2,500 contacts are free on every plan.

Work out your own price

Switching is our job, not yours.

We move you over one tool a month, against success criteria we agree with you up front. You don't pay until we prove each one is ready.

Step 1

We map your stack

Show us Copper and what is plugged into it. We agree what moves where, and what "ready" means for each tool, before you commit.

Step 2

We move Copper across

We move your people, companies, opportunities, projects and history as part of the switch, and check every live deal is where your team expects it.

Step 3

You sign it off

Billing starts only when we have shown it works against the criteria you set. Then we move the next tool, one a month.

Free monthsEvery £1,000 a month you switch off earns a free month, up to three.
Billing starts when it's readyWe prove the switch works before your first invoice.
OnboardingOne month's fee, from £500, paid when your first switch is signed off.
Price lockedYour yearly price is locked for two years.

But Copper sits right in Gmail.

It does. Here is what Google Workspace teams ask us before they move.

Does Landing work with Google Meet?

Yes. The notetaker joins Google Meet and Teams calls, matches speakers to your contacts by email, files the summary on the deal and turns action items into project cards.

We already track projects in Copper. What changes?

Projects come with the money attached: timesheets, retainers with capped carryover, invoices from hours or milestones, and profit per client, project and person on Growth.

Do we lose anything moving off Copper?

Your contacts, companies, opportunities and history move with you as part of the switch, and we agree the success criteria with you before anything is switched off.

Is there a contact limit?

No hard limit. The first 2,500 contacts are free on every plan and you pay per thousand after that, on a published sliding scale.

“We were running PR, social scheduling and the rest of our marketing across half a dozen tools that never talked. Now we plan, schedule and measure from a single screen.”
