Landing Platform vs Searchspring: search, no extra contract

Search and merchandising, without signing one more contract.

Searchspring, now Athos Commerce, sells search, merchandising and personalisation on quote, with annual plans. Landing puts site search, recommendations and merchandising rules in the same plan as your email, CRM, helpdesk and checkout.

Landing suits you if

  • You're tired of renewing one contract per tool
  • You want merchandising rules aimed at real audiences, like shoppers with a basket
  • You want to see the revenue search earned, and how it was counted

Where the renewals pile up.

Every tool comes with its own contract and its own date.

Another annual plan

Searchspring is now sold by Athos Commerce on quote, with annual plans, and AI agents are extra.

Rules without context

Merchandising works best when it knows who is shopping: new, returning, with a basket or in a segment.

Revenue you can't check

A search revenue figure is only useful when you know how it was counted.

Landing Platform vs Searchspring, line by line.

On search and merchandising Landing is ready on your store. It also runs the tools you would otherwise renew separately.

Switching is our job, not yours.

We move you over one tool a month, against success criteria we agree with you up front. You don't pay until we prove each one is ready.

Step 1

We map your stack

Show us your Searchspring setup and the tools around it. We agree what moves where, and what "ready" means for search, before you commit.

Step 2

We move Searchspring across

We index your catalogue, carry your synonyms, redirects and merchandising rules across, and compare your top searches side by side. Searchspring goes off once the results match.

Step 3

You sign it off

Billing starts only when we have shown it works against the criteria you set. Then we move the next tool, one a month.

Free monthsEvery £1,000 a month you switch off earns a free month, up to three.
Billing starts when it's readyWe prove the switch works before your first invoice.
OnboardingOne month's fee, from £500, paid when your first switch is signed off.
Price lockedYour yearly price is locked for two years.

But we already use Searchspring.

Fair. Here are the questions teams ask us most when they're weighing it up.

Can merchandising rules target a type of shopper?

Yes. Boost, bury, pin and redirect for new visitors, returning ones, shoppers with a basket or a named segment, and schedule a rule to start and stop on its own.

Does Landing tell us what search earned?

Yes, and how. The console shows the revenue search led to with the method used to count it beside the number, so a figure is never presented without its basis.

What happens to searches that find nothing?

Landing lists them, and suggests synonyms from what shoppers retype after a poor result. You accept the ones you want; nothing changes without you.

Do we sign a separate search contract?

No. Search is part of the Scale plan, next to email, CRM, helpdesk and checkout. One plan, one price locked for two years.

“We were running PR, social scheduling and the rest of our marketing across half a dozen tools that never talked. Now we plan, schedule and measure from a single screen.”
